I believe that many people have lost the appreciation for making.
Using your hands, ideas, or whichever tools you have at your disposal to make things and knowing how to make things is a quintessentially human experience. Our stories are told through our making. And our stories can heal our wounds.
So, I believe that making is essential to our survival as a species.
Making is life.
Dyeing wool, making brooms, dyeing techniques. These are all ways I do things in my personal life with other community members, teachers, and sometimes by myself. This is who I am.
