Saraswati Sadan

GSB Samaj HUBLI was established in the year 1945 under the guidance of Rao Bahaddur Dr M Keshav Pai with Dr S M Kamat as the founder president. On 24^th June 1949, the first ever recognition for our Samaj in Hubli “SARASWATI SADAN”, Jayachamaraja Nagar (Old Cotton Market) was inaugurated. This day is observed every year as SAMAJ DAY.

Saraswati Sadan was inaugurated with the lower hall (ground floor) MATA BHAGIRATHI SABAGRAHA. In the year 1973, first floor was constructed. The main donor was Shri Rangappa P Kamat. And the hall is named after the main donor as “Shri Rangappa Pandurang Kamat Sabagraha”.
