Festivals

Festivals are celebrated in our samaj for the welfare of samaj bandhavas. This has helped to gather all samaj bandhava under a single roof. Some of the festivals that are observed are

• June 24^th Samaj Day. Eminent GSB personality will be the Chief Guest. Best female and male social service awards will be given in memory of Shri R P Kamat and Shri S P Kamat. Also meritorious prizes will be distributed.
• Ganesh Festival: Ganesh Idol is worshiped for 5 days in Badrapada maasa. This will be accompanied with cultural programs and various competitions. Idol will be immersed our own tank on 5^th day. Also there will be auction of the phalavali items.
• Sharadotsava: Saraswati Idol pooja for 4 days with Devi Alankar, cultural programs and several competitions. Idol will be immersed on the last day. Also meritorious prizes will be distributed in the sabha program. There will also be auction of sarees and other items.
• Rukupakarma, Ramanavami and national festivals will also be observed.
• KONKAN FEAST will be conducted in the months of April-May
