Green Mountain Rowing

Green Mountain Rowing (GMR) is a club dedicated to the sport of rowing in the greater Burlington, Vermont area. Organized in 2001, we are a community of rowers of all abilities, from novice (first-timers) to experienced and former national team athletes. Our club focuses on sculling, and while can access boats through our partnership with the University of Vermont (UVM) Crew, we currently don' t have the critical mass to support a sweep program . Our season runs Memorial Day through the end of October. We row on the Lamoille River below the Peterson Dam in Milton, which feeds into Outer Mallette's Bay/Lake Champlain.

We don't use the Community Rowing email list often, but if you are interested in knowing about public events like a winter rowing machine class, please join our Community Rowing email list, with the following link: https://groups.google.com/d/forum/gmr-community/join . You subscribe or unsubscribe yourself anytime you need to.

Also, we have an Instagram account! https://www.instagram.com/greenmountainrowing to see some of our club members and what our river looks like at various times of the year.
