This time of year is especially busy for Wellsboro and the PA Grand Canyon. Visitors come from all over to view the beauty of the seasonal foliage. We recommend making reservations months in advance. Please use the link below to view local accommodations.
Camping
Tent camping the night prior to the race will be allowed at the start/finish area, but PLEASE contact the Race Director for more details. This area is located on private property and the landowner has graciously granted us camping permissions, we just need to be able to gauge the number of folks planning to tent camp.
The DCNR Asaph Picnic & Camping Area is 2.5 miles within proximity and is available on a first come first serve basis. Water and restroom facilities are available.
If you prefer roughing it, you can camp within the boundaries of the Tioga State Forest. You will want to check with the Tioga State DCNR office for restrictions.
