The Thanksgiving Day Outreach for Greene County, Tennessee (formerly, Greene County Thanksgiving Outreach) began in 1993 as a ministry of Cedar Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church that served and delivered Thanksgiving meals to around 300 people more than thirty years ago! It has grown over the years to multi-denominational group of volunteers who corrdinate the preparation and logistical delivery of a Thanksgiving meal to individuals and families in Greene county, Tennessee.
The Thanksgiving Outreach is always looking for more volunteers, churches and organizations to help with the funding, preparing, packing, delivering, and serving meals on Thanksgiving Day.
There is a core group of 12-15 people who help bring this all together.
