Tyler Junior College's Travel/Study Program in Greece
Scholarship Information
Contingent upon funding by the Student Service Fee Advisory Committee (SSFAC), Tyler Junior College's International Education Club may partially fund the TJC students’ expenses for the Travel/Study Program in Greece. Each TJC student may receive at least $1,000. The exact amount will be determined by the number of participating students and the availability of the fund. The awarded students will be selected from the pool of applicants who submit materials on time, and who meet both merit and need. Special considerations will be given to those students who demonstrate not only an economic need but who will obtain specific experience in their academic careers. The scholarship may not be renewed.
All application materials should be received on or before Jan. 25 of every year.
Students who apply for a scholarship must meet all published criteria in order to receive the award. Applicants must be current TJC students. Essays and applications will become the property of Tyler Junior College. All decisions by the college will be final. The award recipients will be notified as soon as the committee selects the students by February 1st of every year if not earlier.
