If written cancellation is received 90 days prior to departure
= $50 per person penalty; If written cancellation is received 89-61 days prior
= 25% per person penalty; If written cancellation is received 60-31 days prior
= 50% per person penalty; If written cancellation is received 30-0 days prior
No refund for less than 30 days prior to the departure date.
Percentages will be calculated based on the published tour registration fee accordingly.
FORCE MAJEURE – The director and Parasol travel agent shall not be liable to Client for any loss, injury, delay, damages or other casualty suffered or incurred by the latter due to strikers, riots, storms, fires, explosions, acts of God, war, terrorism or threatened acts of terrorism, the action of any government or any other cause beyond its reasonable control. ("Force majeure"). The director and Parasol shall notify the traveler promptly after the occurrence and shall, to the extent reasonable and lawful, use its best efforts to remove or remedy such cause.
If the director and/or Parasol cancel the tour, your fee (the land portion) will be fully refunded any time thirty days before our trip.
6. Insurance: Health, accident, baggage, and trip cancellation insurance is recommended and is available from any travel agent. Suggestion: Click here for a link to GeoBlue or click here for a link to Allianz, both of which are good.
Purchase short-term travel insurance that includes emergency medical care, emergency evacuation, and repatriation of remains. Note: You will probably never NEED any of this. Many credit cards include insurance. Please check yours to see if you are covered. If you expect any chance of cancellation, we recommend the purchase of the trip cancellation insurance from any travel agent. Note: travel cancellation insurance coverage only applies if (a) you purchased the policy within 7days of initial trip payment, and (b) the financial default occurs more than 14 days after the policy effective date. If you need to change your payment plan because of purchasing travel cancellation insurance, please let me know. I will be happy to change your payment plan.
The director and/or Parasol travel agent assume no responsibility for refunding your airline tickets under any circumstances. Flight tickets issued by the airlines shall constitute the sole contract between you and the airlines.
7. Please make sure your health insurance is valid overseas by contacting your provider.
