Some Results in the Non-equilibrium Expansion Dynamics of Integrable Systems
We combine results from integrability and numerical methods to study the non-equilibrium dynamics of low dimensional systems. The motivation stems from the recent developments of the last decade that allow experimentally realizing and probing such systems using ultracold atomic gases and optical lattices. In this talk, we will focus on the expansion dynamics of strongly correlated fermionic systems and discuss how the integrals of motion allow predicting asymptotic long-time behaviors that can be independently confirmed by numerical calculations of the full time dependence.
