• Pember Meusum Amphibians of the Adirondacks Saturday, July 29, 10:30-11:30, 12:30-1"30 2:30-3:30  Location:Pember Nature Preserve: Porter Schoolhouse @ NY-22, Granville, NY 12832, USA    Amphibian comes from the Greek word meaning “double life.”   Today we will learn about the lives of our local amphibians in the water and on land.  We may be able to spot some amphibians down at the pond! A read aloud, crafts and activities are part of this free program open to the public. 

• The Friends of the Pember Library hold a book sale every Saturday from 10 AM to Noon and many donations go to that cause.  

• Granville Lions Club Telescope Furniture Sale Saturday's 10am-2pm Stop in to the Lions Warehouse off Main Street in Granville, NY
