Architectural Change Forms & Specs

READ THIS INFORMATION FIRST

Any changes that take place on the outside of your unit must first be approved by the Board of Directors and/or Suitor, Middleton, Cox and Associates, Grande Cay’s Management company.

The Architectural Change Request Form, and the associated specification forms, are based upon the collective experience of owners meeting the Association’s requirements. Providing the Association with properly completed documentation, will greatly assist the successful approval of your request as well as provide guidance to you and your contractor.

Not providing the proper documentation will delay your change as well as potentially subject you, the owner, to additional fines and/or fees.

1. All requests now require completion of TWO forms: The Architectural Change Request Form and a “Grande Cay Spec….” form for a specific architectural change, e.g., windows, lanai enclosures, air conditioning equipment, front door, etc.

2. The “Grande Cay Spec….” form provides guidance for you and your contractor. This form MUST accompany the Architectural Change Request Form, click here to obtain it.


3. Once completed, signed, and dated, please email these forms and attachments to Sue Sykes using her email address as SueS@smc-cam.com. Optionally, you can hand deliver the forms to the Suitor Offices, at 15751 San Carlos Blvd #8. Fort Myers, FL 33908. For reference, you may want to know the person who received your documents at Suitor.

4. Your request will be inspected by the appropriate personnel and sent back to you.
