Front-Wheel-Drive with Rear-Steering makes for interesting and fun handling, similar to that of a fork-lift and other front-precision-requiring machines.The steering, which is the most unique attribute of this machine, makes it very fun to ride but only under the hands of an experienced driver.

At high speeds the steering becomes VERY sensitive and thus dangerous to a driver who is not REALLY experienced in rear wheel steering.

Luckily for me, I am working with Harvesters, Forklifts, Loaders, etc. ever since I can remember myself. So the understanding of the dynamics of rear wheel steering is in my nature.

The Build

This build required a lot of improvising(Don't they all...). I used the 300cc engine from the Garden Tractor, which had a transmission problem that led to the grinding of the High-range gear shaft, which resulted in a top speed of 2mph.

With the help of my best friend, I constructed a mount for the engine and a belt-tightener clutch assembly, later operated from the driver's position.
