Farmall-H Restoration Project (See Also Farmall S-BMD Restoration)
The project was started in 2006 by my father, me, and 4 other friends.
The 1945 McCormick Farmall-H (International Harvester) served in my Kibbutz from its beginning.
After many years of service and a few maintenance issues, it gave in and went to tractor heaven (kindergarten play yard), where it lay for many years with colorful paint, no tires, and no engine.
We started the restoration as a group of 6-people, each an expert in his own field.
The work took place mainly during weekends, as this is a hobby of ours, so it was very exciting seeing the big changes we managed from week to week. Whether it was fitting the engine and running it, or sanding and painting the whole assembly, etc.
The completed work was a true piece of art and was exhilarating to watch, feel, and ride.
