Goldsmiths Residents Association are joining the march and rally to save our local hospitals. We will be meeting from 11am on Saturday 15th March at Acton Park. We will then walk along Uxbridge Road to Ealing Common.

NHS North West London is reorganising hospital services and is proposing to close four of the nine A&E centres in the area.
The ill-thought-out proposals would mean Acton residents losing A&E departments at Central Middlesex, Ealing, Hammersmith and Charring Cross hospitals. The nearest A&E units for us would be St Marys, Chelsea and Westminster, Northwick Park, the West Middlesex or Hillingdon. We do not have good public transport links from Acton to any of these hospitals and in emergencies lives could be put at risk.
A public consultation that will run from July to October, with a decision on the proposed changes being made early in 2013. To ensure your voice is heard please sign the petitions below.
