Chapter 6: Upgrading Relational Resiliency
I want to finish this chapter with a short anecdote about the Berlin Wall. This wall, begun in 1961, was a transparent reminder of the dangerous ideological and relational malaise that divided large parts of humanity. We in the mission/aid and member care community can learn much from the erecting and dismantling of this monolithic travesty.

This book is a fascinating, highly relvant, and in-depth look at trust--self, relational, organizational, market, and social trust, based on competency and character. Easy to understand/practical. Chapter 11: Extending the Foundations of Good Practice
This video from the Veritas Forum provides a quick overview of the history and relevance of human rights. It is somewhat Western-centric in places but overall it is very well done (nine minutes). It is a good complement to chapter 11's emphasis on the inclusion of human rights into the field/practice of member care. "Come on in. Have a seat...."
