Here is our Fordson Major earning its keep by harrowing and rolling the field. It's running really well since Rohan rebuilt the engine and gave it a complete overhaul, probably for the first time in 65 years!

So , you have a Fergie with a snow plough which works well , and then you lift the snow with Nuther Fergie and it has a lifter so snow is then piled up at the back of the shop . Snow has to be removed as if you just use the scraper/plough the car park just keeps getting smaller and that's not the idea !! If the carpark is clear customers can use the two buisness that trade from here in the winter Freshtracks ski hire and The Wee House of Glenshee!!

Spring comes and the pile of snow has turned into a pile of gravel , so Nuther Fergie lifts gravel back to carpark and Fergie then spreads it out !! Recycling at its best and being done by two tractors from the 1950s and one happy driver also from the 1950s !

Can anybody guess which tractor was purchased first ?

In lock down hens still have to be fed and we got Davidsons in Blairgowrie to deliver everything to us at Pottery House and then I delivered it to our neighbours. All with good social distancing of course!

Bob

Lockdown meant that Bob could start on his barn and clear out the "stuff" he has amassed for over 20 years . Wee van proving itself useful in this dept !
