We are planning to hold our August BBQ this year 04th August 2024
Each year on the first Sunday in August, we host our own BBQ and classic vehicle show. There's a road run for the cars and motorbikes and also the off-road run for the tractors and 4x4s.
You don't need to enter, just turn up on the day. If you want you can join in on the road-runs (Usually leaving around 10.30 to 11.00). Bring along your classic car, motorcycle, tractor, military vehicle, classic 4 x 4, vintage bicycle, lawnmower... any vintage/classic or interesting vehicle is welcome!
Over the past years we have had up to 220 vehicles in the field. Last year we had a road-run, and for the tractors and off road vehicles there was an off road run among the hills and beautiful local scenery!
The burgers were ready when people started returning from the road-runs and off road run. We also had a raffle and guess the Whisky.
Drinks and other snacks are available from the Hall also bacon rolls and coffee from 09.00 for people traveling from near and far. These are provided by the Hall committee so there will be a charge towards Hall funds.
The Hall also provides use of their toilets on the day!
The club will still provide free burgers from the BBQ from around 12.30.
So come along and enjoy the day!
All day Hall opens for teas, coffee and cakes. Bacon rolls all morning.
