The 2026-27 programme will run from September to August.
If you are thinking of joining us, our normal arrangements are as follows.
Evening meetings are 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Meet over a cup of tea or coffee from 6.45pm.
Day Workshops are 10am to 4pm. There is priority booking for members.
A non-refundable deposit of £10 is required to secure a place.
The workshop fee does not include lunch, but tea and coffee will be provided.
Workshop requirements will be here on the website and e-mailed out to members.
Visitors who might be interested in a workshop if a vacancy arises should contact the Committee.

We’re delighted to welcome Sam for our first talk of our new programme. Samantha Townsend is a textile artist living in Scotland, with a degree in 3D Design and Craft from Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, offering City and Guilds courses. Check out her website Designed by Sam for more information.

Stitch the Gap CIC are a Social Enterprise Company passionate about bridging the sewing machine skills gap so that this valuable, life-long skill is not lost in our generation. Amanda and Trish will also hold a Sales tables!

Tracy Perks - Talk
Tracy is a UK-based quilt pattern designer and the founder of Rope and Anchor Trading Co. She has spent years sewing in small spaces on a narrowboat along the canal before moving her studio to a Scottish cottage near the Galloway Forest. Her work focuses on simple shapes, that help beginners build confidence. She regularly appears as a guest designer on Sewing Street TV to share tips, techniques, and new designs.
