GGQ's 25th Anniversary project

The Gathering will be commemorating its 25th anniversary in 2027. 

We propose to members to make a block. The theme for it is a FLOWER of your choice. It can be a replica of a real flower or a flower of your imagination, quilted and embellished with silver thread, beads or anything that takes your fancy

The finished block size is twelve and a half inches (12.1/2”)

Members will receive a fat quarter to be used for the binding of the block. The block should be quilted and bound in the fabric you have been given. You do not need to use the surplus fabric in the block; you can if you wish, or you can add it to your stash

All completed blocks will be displayed at the SEC's Scottish Quilting Show on 4-6 March 2027. 

The last day to hand in the block will be at our Sewcial Sewing Day on Saturday 5th February 2027

Have FUN with this project. It is not compulsory to participate but we hope you will!
