Whispers quilts

When you have finished your quilt, please send Margo a photo and a short statement about your inspiration/ the methods of making it. Don't panic - your turn may not have come up yet!

Margo is gathering the finished quilts to keep them safely together, so please bring along your completed Whispers quilt to the meeting.

Chair's Challenge

Our theme this year will be 'Americana', commemorating 250th anniversary of signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Make a 12"-ish square wall-hanging to be shown on our stand at the SEC's Scottish Quilting Show on 5-7 March 2026.

Exhibitions & Events

Quilters' Guild of the British Isles Region 16 Area Day      

Saturday 11th October, Doors open 9am, close 4pm - Glenboig Life Centre, ML52RD.

Come along to this modern bright fully accessible community centre with easy parking. Hand stitch a lovely bowl or machine stitch a project bag. Master inserting zips if you have never tried before! 

Cost £15 for members and £20 non members-all welcome.
