Looking at this world and how it’s living

Seeing the truth about what it’s giving

Hurts my heart and soul so deep

Make me want to sit down and weep

On the surface it seem so good and nice

But if you look deeper, it’s built on lies

It offers you a life in happiness

But leaves your life in a big great mess

Can’t you see this is leading the wrong way

This will only more burdens on you lay

So please, please listen to what I say

There is a much, much better way!

Jesus is the answer for the world today

Come to me, he says, the burdens on me lay

I have paid the price for the sin

Offering my life, I did over death win

He can’t offer you a life without tears

Sometimes there also will be fears

But he will always know what you are going through

Even worse things he had to do

His peace he leaves in your heart

And his angels will be your guards

He loves you more then words can say

He will lead you the right way…

…the way home to him!
