GI JOE - A Real American Hero (1988)
In 1988, Hasbro created a Toys R Us exclusive: NIGHT FORCE
There were NIGHT FORCE vehicles in black with red accents and two-pack action figures.
One of the sets of two pack figures had NIGHT FORCE team members Sneak Peek (version 2) and Lt. Falcon (version 1).
They were reissued figures with a new paint scheme for the NIGHT FORCE team. On the YOJOE.com site they distinguish versions of Falcon vs Lt. Falcon even though it is still the same GI JOE character.
It is the same mold of the 1986 Falcon, but recoloured for the Night Force theme black and grey top brown pants and olive green scarf, web great and molded gear, the boots were recoloured all black and the beret is black instead of green, and has a red flash.
It has the same black shotgun and black knife. The backpack with removable gooseneck antenna were recoloured black for the Night Force Lt. Falcon.
