Members must have taken at least 3 Spanish classes to join. While in Spanish, you must maintain a minimum of a 3.5 GPA; otherwise, a probationary period is implemented for you to raise your grade, and 15 more points are required.
Applications are handed out based on teacher recommendation after your third year of Spanish. Applications will be available during second semester for eligible Spanish students.
Club membership is renewed each year on the basis of point completions. Every year, members are required to do activities totaling 100 points, instead of hours. Different activities earn different points (ex: a food drive = 15 points, tutoring for 1 hour = 6 points). Unexcused absences from club meetings and events will result in a five-point deduction.

Meetings are held on a monthly basis. Members must attend at least five meetings to earn a total of 15 points. If a member cannot make a meeting, make sure to email us (greenhopespanish@gmail.com ) directly with a valid reason for missing the meeting. Failure to notify the club with a valid excuse will result in an unexcused absence and a five-point deduction.
