PRIMARY RESEARCH INTEREST:
My central research interests revolve around the study of exotic phenomena at the solid-liquid & solid-solid interfaces. In this research theme the primary instrument is Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) technique which is used to grow high-quality ultra-thin films and hetero structures (HSs). Study of exotic interfaces is a broad field of research where my precise interest is divided into four potentially inter-connected domains such as:
1. Wettability studies on PLD grown Oxide thin-film surfaces
2. Probing interfacial magnetism in Oxide-based hetero structures
3. High quality, wafer-scale growth of 2D-TMDC thin-film/HS using PLD.
4. Interfacial interaction at TMO/TMDC hetero structures.
OTHER RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Magneto-optical properties of Perovskite and Double perovskite (DP) systems.
Magnetic studies of quantum dots (QD) & other metal-organic frameworks (MOFs).
In-situ instrumentation involving low-Temperature, ultra-low vacuum, and high magnetic field.
