I am currently working as an Assistant Professor of Physics at SRM University AP in Andhra Pradesh, India.

My central research interests revolve around the study of exotic phenomena at the solid-liquid & solid-solid interfaces. In this research theme of interface work my main tool is Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) technique to grow high-quality ultra-thin films and hetero-structures and then study the solid/solid & solid/liquid interfaces. Two other equally important field of research are ‘Optical studies of rare-earth based perovskites’ and ‘Study of nature of electron transport in metal-organic thin-films’.

I have finished my PhD in the Physics Department at the University of Florida (UFL) in December 2012, on the dissertation topic titled `Experiments on Magnetic Nano Structures, Quantum Dots and Magnetic Thin Films'

My advisor was Prof A. F. Hebard from Physics Department at the University of Florida(UFL).

After finishing my PhD in USA I moved to NUS, Singapore to work with Prof. T. Venkatesan (FRS 2021) at NUSNNI-NanoCore. In the postdoctoral tenure I was mainly involved in the study of solid-liquid and solid-solid interface grown by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique.

In the summer of 2019 I finally moved back to India to start my independent research and academic career as an Assistant Professor in SRM University, AP near Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
