Here are the rules:
Each Team will select 11 players participating in the NCAA Tournament.
Each Team MUST select at least one player on a team seeded 12-16.
Draft order will be determined randomly at the draft.
The draft will be a classic "snake" draft with the first rounder order being reversed (first is last etc.) and each round following will be reversed from the prior round.
A spreadsheet will be available shortly after selection Sunday with player scoring averages for all tournament teams. This spreadsheet is provided as a courtesy by your volunteer commissioner by committee crew and is NOT guaranteed as to accuracy and is entirely dependent on the data provided by CBS Sports and the ability of the creator to cut and paste which is done usually with tremendous speed to get it out there.
The team with the most total points scored will be the winner.
In the unlikely event of a tie, first place will be shared among the winning totals.
If a team discovers a drafted player is out with injury, Injured players can be replaced before the tournament begins with any player not selected in the draft. Once the tournament begins on Thursday, injury replacements (injury being defined as any player who played zero minutes in a full game due to injury) will be automatically made by adding the player with the next highest regular season scoring average on the roster of the injured player's team who was NOT drafted by another team.
Players from play-in (first round) teams are permitted to be drafted however it is not at all remotely advocated by your humble commissioner. Multiple teams have tried this and failed.
Have fun and enjoy the tournament and root for Providence wherever possible.
