Multiple Time Series Monitoring of Forest Resource Changes Training

Two trainers from UMD conducted a two-week course at Vietnam's Forest Inventory and Planning Institute (FIPI) to facilitate the production of the national forest cover maps for the years 2000 and 2015, and the 2000-2015 tree canopy cover loss, gain, and FIPI’s rotation products using the UMD Global Land Analysis and Discovery (GLAD) methodology, data, and software. This training has introduced FIPI to national product development with UMD tools and software and will be follow by a separate accuracy assessment training.
