Welcome to GentleSwing/MLCCC PreK Early Learning Program! We provide bilingual languages with English and Mandarin Chinese for children ages 2 to 5 years old!


Your children have to be at least 2 years old and potty trained to enroll in our program!


Our Goal


The philosophy of GentleSwing is best described as a dash of Montessori, believing that a child’s play is his/her education. We aim to provide your children the joy of learning and play through a unique immersive Mandarin enrichment program that blends in Montessori-style learning. We are here to help your children Grow, be intellectually Educated, healthily Nurtured, via Teamwork through Learning and Playing, and more importantly, Enjoy the first chapter of his/her life in a Mandarin immersive program! 


Why focus on PreK education?


Early education, particularly PreK (pre-kindergarten) and K (kindergarten) programs, are crucial for the development of young children.

Why Mandarin immersion program?

Our daily classroom will be communicated in both English and Chinese, with about 30% of our class time will be taught in Mandarin Chinese immersive environment, as we believe mastering a second language can bring lifelong benefits to a child's growth. In an increasingly globalized world, bilingualism can open doors to whole new realms, including cultural experiences, creativity, career opportunities, and meaningful personal relationships. In addition to the practical benefits of bilingualism, there is ample evidence from psychology, neuroscience, and education research that proficiency in a second language can help direct attention, plan and problem-solve, and interpret others' speech and behavior. Moreover, three-year-old bilingual children have already shown a leading advantage in empathy and other basic social and emotional skills.

Children under six years old can easily and happily absorb more than one language, so we provide comprehensive Mandarin immersion instruction for kindergarten and pre-school children.
