Ms. Vidya
Ms. Vidya is a highly skilled and dedicated member of the GentleSwing/MLCCC team and she brings a wealth of expertise and a profound understanding of working with younger children to our team. Her extensive experience in caring for younger children has equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to engage and inspire our children in various learning activities.
As a mother of two young children herself, Ms. Vidya understands the importance of early childhood education and is passionate about fostering children's growth and development. She deeply cares about each child's individual journey, recognizing their unique interests, needs, and learning styles.

Ms. Patti
Ms. Patti is an experienced and dedicated member of the GentleSwing family for over 20 years. Her longevity at GentleSwing speaks to her commitment and passion for early childhood education.
As the main teacher for the daily morning classes, Ms. Patti brings her expertise and enthusiasm to two important subjects: English Early Literacy and Math in English. In the English Early Literacy class, she focuses on developing essential reading and writing skills in young children, laying a solid foundation for their literacy journey. Through engaging activities, she nurtures their phonemic awareness, letter recognition, vocabulary development, comprehension skills, and emergent writing abilities.
In the Math in English class, Ms. Patti guides students in building a strong mathematical foundation. She employs interactive and hands-on techniques to foster their understanding of numbers, counting, basic operations, measurement, geometry, patterns, and more. Her goal is to make math accessible and enjoyable, creating a positive learning environment where students can develop their mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills.
With her extensive experience and expertise, Ms. Patti plays a vital role in nurturing children's growth, promoting their language development, and building their confidence in both English Early Literacy and Math.
Ms. Chen
Ms. Chen brings seven years of experience in teaching art and craft to young children, fueled by her deep love for art and passion for handicrafts. Her spare time is dedicated to designing and creating various handicrafts, further enhancing her skills and knowledge in the field.
At GentleSwing, Ms. Chen will serve as our Social Studies instructor. Her curriculum is designed around monthly themes, providing a comprehensive exploration of various subjects. In addition to Social Studies, Ms. Hui will incorporate her expertise in art and craft into the curriculum. Students will have the opportunity to engage in activities such as clay sculpture, paper cutting, tie-dyeing, fabric art, pottery, weaving, sewing, jewelry design, embroidery, batik, handmade soap, candle making, and more.
By integrating art and craft into Social Studies, Ms. Chen creates a dynamic and immersive learning experience for the children. Through hands-on activities, they will not only gain a deeper understanding of social and cultural concepts but also develop their artistic skills and creativity.
Ms. Wanda
Ms. Wanda's journey with GentleSwing is both inspiring and heartfelt. Having joined the organization in 2015 and eventually becoming the owner in 2018, she has developed a profound connection to GentleSwing. Her personal connection is strengthened by witnessing her own daughter's successful growth through GentleSwing. This experience has given her a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the impact GentleSwing can have on children's lives.
As an educator at GentleSwing, Ms. Wanda's dedication to the children's development and well-being shines through in her commitment to providing high-quality education and care. She takes great joy in teaching and guiding the children, ensuring they have a nurturing and supportive environment to thrive.
Moreover, Ms. Wanda's passion for mathematics goes beyond her role at GentleSwing. In her free time, she continues to share her love for the subject with elementary-age students as a math teacher at MLCCC during the weekends. Her enthusiasm for math undoubtedly extends to her teaching at GentleSwing, making the subject engaging and enjoyable for our children.

Ms. Zhu, formerly an architect before becoming a part of GentleSwing, enriches our educational environment by bringing her architectural background to the realm of Art and Drawing. In the mornings, she dedicates time to reading Chinese and English books with the children, teaching knowledge in English, Math, and Chinese. Being a mother of two children herself, Ms. Zhu understands on a personal level the significance of nurturing creativity and expression in young minds.
Ms. Li
Ms. Li, a longstanding MLCCC teacher in Chinese, has demonstrated a true passion for education throughout her many years of service. As a mother of two children herself, Ms. Li understands the dynamics of both teaching and parenting, bringing a valuable perspective to our educational environment.
