This four-volume series is designed to support for a course on linear algebra and analytic geometry in a Bachelor of Science or Engineering. The single volumes can be also used individually to focus attention only on one aspect of the course. The volumes are planned to be also used by self-taught people, but in this case the use of all volumes is desirable.
The books are written in Italian, but an English version could be published. If you are interested, please contact me.
This volume deals with what is needed to tackle the subjects of linear algebra and analytic geometry of the other two volumes: sets, logic, algebra, polynomials, functions, equivalence relations, lines and planes. In addition to the theoretical aspects, accompanied by comments and examples, the volume provides 90 exercises (45 solved completely and 45 with the indication of the result only) and 60 multiple choice quizzes.
176 pages - 83 figures
This volume deals with the theoretical aspects of linear algebra and analytic geometry, combining the classical definitions, remarks and propositions typical of Mathematics with many comments and examples.
500 pages - 192 figures
This volume provides 145 exercises for which a complete solution is described, 261 exercises for which only the result is given and 418 quizzes, divided by subject, to focus the study and to check the level of comprehension.
360 pages - 58 figures
This volume provides 20 sample examinations, with an aggregate of 480 multiple-choice questions with the correct answer and one or more resolution ideas, and 40 open-ended questions with a complete answer. There are definite references to the other volumes, both to theory and to solved exercises.
