Click here for information on how to get to the University of Reading
Reading is situated at the heart of the Thames Valley, half an hour by train from London, half an hour from Oxford and Windsor, and 40 minutes from Heathrow Airport.
This is a green and affluent part of England, with the beautiful countryside of the Chilterns sweeping up from Reading into Oxfordshire to the north, Windsor Great Park to the east, and the rolling hills and rural towns of the Lambourn Downs to the west.
Henley-on-Thames, just 15 minutes drive from Reading, is the small town where the famous Henley Regatta takes place every year. The Symposium Gala Dinner will be held at our picturesque Greenlands Campus, which is located just outside Henley, on the bank of the Thames.
Beyond this, the historic city of Bath, the prehistoric monument of Stonehenge, and the stylish seaside city of Brighton & Hove, are all within comfortable travelling distance.
Below is a selection of hotels in Reading. Though we have tried to be accurate and reflect a range to suit all pockets, please bear in mind that prices and availablility do change, so please contact individual hotels for further information.
