The 2011 Symposium is co-organized by the European Research Group GdRE (Groupement de Recherche Européen) on Money, Banking and Finance of the French CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and the School of Economics at the University of Reading, and is co-sponsored by these two institutions as well as by the Bank of England and the Fondation Banque de France.
It will be held in the recently-built premises of the Henley Business School at the University of Reading's Whiteknights Campus.
