Thames Cruise and Gala Dinner

The Symposium Gala Dinner takes place on Thursday 23 June at Greenlands, a picturesque campus and part of the University of Reading, set in its own park lands on the bank of the river Thames, not far from Henley.

Coaches will pick up guests from Chancellors Way on Whiteknights Campus at 18.15, dropping off at the mooring point of our cruise boat in the centre of Henley. Drinks will be served on the boat as it makes its leisurely way up the Thames to Wargrave Lock, before taking guests to Greenlands, stepping from the boat up the river bank to the dining hall.

The Gala Dinner itself should be a highlight of the Symposium, with great British cuisine, convivial company and beautiful surroundings. At the end of the evening transport will be provided to take guests back to Reading town centre.

If you have not bought a ticket for the Gala Dinner and would like to attend, please contact one of the Symposium organisers.

We look forward to your company for a very pleasant evening.
