The aim of the course is:
1. To inform students about the idea of civic responsibility and its roots
2. To develop students’ interest in issues of global injustice
3. To inspire and inform students’ possible actions toward common good on local, national and global level
4. To promote cross-cultural understanding of diversity
5. To foster students’ cooperation in the area of service
6. To advance dialog, peacemaking, and the art of accompanying rooted in the Franciscan Tradition
7. To reflect and evaluate one’s own learning process and on service project
