Artist Statement
“In my work there is a push and pull between nature and man's place in nature, or our interactions with the natural world and how this influences societies, cultures and individual behaviors … through beauty or repulsive notions I hope to elaborate visually and conceptually on things that conflict man and nature. Internally, the body and mind, and social perceptions. Externally, natural forces, ecological conflicts and abuses of the natural word. I hope through the body of my artworks to pay homage to our social and ecological failures and successes.
