Everyone who walks the 140 miles of the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path can now be rewarded with a special badge (pin) and a certificate in recognition of their achievement. In addition, all those who complete the walk will be listed on the website of the Friends of the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, together with any experiences, photos etc that they may wish to provide. It is hoped that this scheme will provide an added incentive for more walkers to follow the whole route and so enjoy the wide variety of scenery and terrain to be found on this uniquely beautiful Path. As this information grows, walkers thinking about this challenge will be able to learn more about it from the impressions of those who have completed the walk.
may complete the walk at one time or on several visits. Those who have walked
the entire path previously will also be added to the list if they provide
appropriate evidence. Walkers do not need to start at the official start point
at St. Cybi’s church Holyhead but may start at any point and progress in either
direction. The route directions linked to the 12 map leaflets on the website
describe the clockwise route.
