Colorguard takes place during the summer and fall and brings the visual impact to the Marching band. Membership is open to any FHS student. While prior dance experience is helpful it is not required. The colorguard accentuates the musical sound by using choreographed movements utilising dance, flags, and weapons. The guard works closely with the band to coordinate and carefully synchronise their choreography for competitions and halftime shows.
