Merger simulation with nested logit demand: implementation in Stata

To install the mergersim package, start from the command line in Stata and type the following:

2. net install mergersim

Program files will be installed in C:\ado\plus\m and C:\ado\plus\l.

To obtain an example do-file and dataset, type the following (from an empty folder on your PC):

3. net get mergersim

The files example.do and cars1.dta will be installed in your empty folder (you can also download them directly).

To obtain help, type:
