FRANCESCA BORGONOVI
I am the Head of Skills Analysis in the OECD Centre for Skills in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. I am also an Honorary Professor at the Social Research Institute - University College London.
In 2018 I was awarded a British Academy Global Professorship to conduct work on digital technology use and educational outcomes.
I held research and teaching positions in the Department of Social Policy and the Centre for the Analysis of Social Exclusion at the London School of Economics and Political Science; the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley; and the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po Paris.
Research interests: adult skills assessments, returns to skills, comparative education policy, disparities in academic achievement and self-rated beliefs (by gender, SES and migrant status), test-taking motivation and engagement, trust, student well-being.
