We have a great tribe of artists in and around Acomb now. Under a calm, everyday exterior is a positive hive of creatives. Many will be involved in this year's Open Studios event. 2 weekends starting April 18th, when their workspaces will be open to all. Come and see the art in the making, meet the people who make, paint, create.
My workroom will be open 10 - 5pm, and I am trying to show it in its real state this year . Lots of things to see, work to buy, cards and the Tatty Mice to meet.

We have a mini show of some of the local artists at the Crooked Tap on Acomb Green. Drop in for a drink, a chat, and plan your visits. We are all grateful for the support.
After this comes York Textile Artists' PopUp Shop on High Petergate in May, July is YTA show - Postcards from Yorkshire, at the Wytchwood Gallery, the Great Yorkshire Show and Acomb Fest, all kicking off at the start of July, Staithes Festival and a workshop at Hornsea Arts Festival in September, and the annual YTA show in October.
