The sport of Orienteering began in the country of Sweden in 1918. It is a mix of cross country running and land navigation. Here in our unit we pride ourselves on having a super competitive team. Cadets are given a map and compass, and are expected to find their way around the course whiling stoping at specific checkpoint known as "markers"  Go Flying L Battalion!
