Drill Team teaches precision, discipline, and leadership to the cadets involved. Our drill team consists of several individual teams: Unarmed/Armed Basics, Unarmed/Armed Exhibition, Color Guard, Academics, and Physical Fitness.
Exhibition Drill consists of the cadets doing freestyle movements with a military-style approach in a given area, executing various movements with or without demilitarized weapons. This consists of throwing, spinning, and exchanging the weapons for the armed side. The performances for both teams range from six to nine minutes of the cadets displaying their skills.
Regulation Drill is where the cadets on each team march around in a given area executing a set list of commands. There are two regulation teams: armed regulation and unarmed regulation. The armed regulation team uses demilitarized weapons and execute various movements with the rifle. The unarmed regulation team performs basic movements and stationary commands.
On 02/05/22 our Battalion's Drill Team competed/preformed at the Flanagan High School Drill Meet, below are pictures of our sequences!
