Sanctuary Tracks

BOTANIC TRACK only track that is suitable for Wheelchair access.

Throughout the Sanctuary are small directional maps indicating your location.

--- BOTANIC TRACK - 20 mins

Follows a sealed path through 'young' rainforest. Picturesque creeks and native plantings (many labeled) make this the most popular of Sanctuary walks.

(Easy - Moderate)

---CASCADE CIRCUIT - 40 mins

Steep descent from sealed track but worth the walk to view the permanent water flow over the basalt rocks nestled amongst the young rainforest canopy. (Moderate)

-- SOUTHERN TRACK - 15 mins

Pleasant undulating, bush track through original Sanctuary rainforest established more than fifty years ago. (Easy)

--- BRANT'S CIRCUIT - 1 hour

Takes walkers through an area donated to the community by the Brant family. Birdlife abundant through rainforest sections. Be aware that the walk back to the rotunda is all uphill. (Moderate - Difficult)

---EUCALYPTUS TRACK - 45 mins

Beautiful walk through natural woodland forest and eucalyptus (gum tree) plantings. Plenty of birds on the ground and in the trees (Moderate)

Foote Sanctuary is also on the Buderim Walks network. Markers around the Sanctuary and in other parts of Buderim direct visitors to the trails that form part of these walks.
