About Food Un/Report

This website is a prototype of the Food Sector Module of the Impact Economy Un/Report that LifeCity is producing this year.

LifeCity and Tulane University students have been researching the infrastructure and access to the healthy, local food sector in New Orleans.

Students participated in a January 2012 Healthy Food Forum hosted by Social Entrepreneurs of New Orleans and LifeCity and sponsored by the Greater New Orleans Foundation.

We are analyzing the problems and solutions voiced by stakeholders in the local food sector.

This website compiles a "live" report summarizing challenges, solutions, resources, etc.for the FOOD sector--healthy food access, urban agriculture/growers, soil and inputs, markets and distribution.
