Born and raised in Jack, AL, Ms. Flowers worked to influence her High School band; she served as Drum Major for 3 years as well as clarinet section leader for 5 years which gave direction to her life.
Ms. Flowers attended Troy University for both her Undergraduate and Graduate degrees in Instrumental Music Education. During her undergraduate career at Troy University she served the “Sound of the South” marching band as Assistant Drum Major as well as participating in Symphony Band, Campus Band, Concert Band and Clarinet Choir. Ms. Flowers is also a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, International Music Fraternity for Women, Mortar Board, Omicron Delta Kappa and the National Association for Music Education.
During her graduate career she served the Troy University Band Program as the Administrative Graduate Assistant. She also serves as a camp clinician and adjudicator in Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
