The following aircraft have been tested and found to work in Flight Gear 1.0. The images are screenshots of the aircraft in FG 1.

For reference version 1.9.1 was released in 2008, the same year as Flight Gear 1.0
The earliest set of aircraft was listed as for version 1.9.1 available at this location: http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/flightgear/ftp/Aircraft-1.9.1/
When installing aircraft from later versions it was found that they do not work with FG1, some do not work at all, some have their textures not showing (a pink material shading replaces the texture) and the instruments do not all show the textures.Changing the texture types from .jpg to .rgb usually fixes the issue, and the aircraft will fly withing Flight Gear, but may generate error messages on the console and some animations may not work. Landing gear works, however on all converted aircraft.

The files for these aircraft could not be found on the web anywhere so the alternative was to use aircraft listed for a later version.
