Our clients brief was to provide alternative accommodation to use as their HQ.
It must cater for day to day operations of a busy transport hub and be sited within a relatively small space so as to maximise working area of the yard - Onwards & UPWARDS !
With a tight budget and small window of opportunity to relocate to a new site, a Modular building was decided upon.
Facilities must include a canteen complete with kitchenette for both office staff and contract drivers, DDA WC, open plan operations office and corporate boardroom.
The footprint available determined an area of 24ft x 20 ft (7.2 m x 6m), not enough to accommodate the clients needs fully, so the only way is up.
Flexaccom were able to provide a 2 storey 4 bay modular, each with a size of 24ft x 10ft to give an overall area of 960 sq ft (288 m2).
