A Comprehensive, Individual Approach
Although the clinic is founded on high-quality chiropractic care, treatment is never one-dimensional. We take a broad view of your health, addressing not only symptoms but the underlying cause of your condition.
Alongside chiropractic treatment, we may incorporate complementary therapies where appropriate, including:
Medical Acupuncture
Remedial and Sports Massage
Exercise Rehabilitation
Nutritional Advice
Every recommendation is tailored to your individual needs.
Your First Appointment
Your initial consultation lasts approximately 45 minutes and begins with a detailed discussion of your current concerns and medical history. A thorough neurological, orthopaedic and physical examination follows to identify the root cause of your symptoms.
If chiropractic care is not appropriate for your condition, you will be referred to your GP or the relevant specialist.
Your clinical information remains strictly confidential at all times.
Clear Diagnosis. Evidence-Based Care.
We believe in evidence-based practice and thorough examination. X-rays or additional tests are only recommended if clinically necessary.
You will receive a clear explanation of your diagnosis in plain language, along with a transparent treatment plan outlining expected timescales and costs. Where appropriate, you will also be guided through exercises and rehabilitation strategies designed to support recovery and prevent recurrence.
Patients move through three broad phases of care, beginning with easing immediate discomfort and progressing toward long term spinal health. The first phase prioritises symptom relief, helping reduce pain and other acute issues. The second phase focuses on healing and restoring normal function, supporting tissues as they recover and stabilise. The final phase provides ongoing spinal maintenance, aimed at preventing new injuries, reducing flare ups of previous problems, and slowing degenerative changes.
Stage 1
Symptom Relief
This stage addresses your most urgent concerns so daily activities become more manageable.
This is the first step and it’s aim is simple: To help you feel better as quickly as possible. Treatment focuses on easing pain and discomfort so you can get back to your day to day activities with more comfort. You may be advised to take things gently, but staying lightly active is usually encouraged as long as it doesn’t risk further irritation or injury.
Stage 2
Corrective Care
Supports deeper healing, improves mobility, and helps the spine and surrounding tissues return to healthier function. Once your immediate pain has settled, this stage works on fixing the underlying problem and helping the injured tissues heal properly. This stage is important for long term improvement.
Keeping up with your appointments, doing your home exercises, and following the chiropractor’s guidance all make a big difference. Even when the pain has eased, the deeper tissues may still be healing, so continuing treatment helps prevent the issue from returning.
Stage 3
Wellness and Prevention
Maintains progress through periodic check ups, helping protect against future issues and supporting your long term spinal wellbeing.
When your spine has healed well and is moving as it should, ongoing wellness care helps keep everything working smoothly. These check ups can be as occasional as once a year or as frequent as once a month, depending on what your body needs. Think of them like dental check ups—small issues can be spotted early before they turn into bigger problems. Many spinal issues don’t cause noticeable symptoms until later, so regular check ins help protect your long term spinal health.
