8. I.T. Systems

We want to keep a fairly relaxed attitude to IT but there must be some rules...

These policies apply to both members and non-members who use the Fife Hackspace.

9.1 Internet Use Policy

• Using our internet connection to break, or potentially break, UK law (especially by violating copyright) is forbidden. It may result in us being disconnected.

• Our internet bandwidth is limited, so please avoid downloading large files.

• Your internet usage should not impact the ability of others to use it as well. If you must use lots of bandwidth, do it at times where the space is quiet.
