9:30 am – 10:30 am The Market Place opens
10:30 am – 12:00 pm – Business Meeting and Awards
12:30 pm – Luncheon
1:30 pm - Message from our State President- Beverly Wattenbarger and Installation of New Officers.
Dress code: Country Club Casual
The lunch menu includes:
House salad.
Chicken Marsala.
Garlic mashed potatoes & seasonal vegetables.
Rolls and Butter.
Apple pie.
Coffee, ice tea, and water.
The price for our meeting and luncheon event will be $40.00 each.

Your club can get one table for $35 or two tables for $50.
Tables are to be reserved and paid for prior to the opening of the market place.

EAST CENTRAL DISTRICT – FALL BOARD MEETING
Calling all East Central District
Executive Board and Board of Directors,
All Chairman, All Club Presidents in ECD, Members at large.
Please mark your calendar for the 2023 ECD Fall Board meeting to be held on August 29, 2023. To be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 PM. The meeting will be held at the Moolah Shrine, 12545 Fee Fee Rd. St. Louis, MO 63146. The Board of Directors will meet between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. The General Meeting will begin at 10:15 a.m.
Morning snacks and beverages will be served. Lunch is on your own if you so choose. Please bring your own cup for coffee.
All Chairman are asked to bring copies of your yearly report. If you wish you may send it electronically to lcfrey@hotmail.com . If you wish to address the members, there is a 3-minute limit, and you must send your report electronically to Linda Frey, Recording Secretary, lcfrey@hotmail.com. So, your report can be added to the agenda. Send me your intent to speak electronically, ecddirector.clohse@aol.com, so that I will put your name on the agenda.
If you have any old business or New Business to bring forth, please send the topic of your discussion and the heading it is to be placed under to me, ecddirector.clohse@aol.com .
ECD AUGUST NEWSLETTER - AUGUST ECD FALL MEETING
The ECD Fall Board Meeting will be held at the Moolah Shrine Temple, 12545 Fee Fee Rd. St. Louis, MO 63146, on August 29, 2023.
The Executive Board meeting will be held at 9:30 am and the General Meeting will be held at 10:00 am. Snacks will be provided. Please bring your own cup. Elections will be held during the October FGCM/ECD Banquet to be held on October 12, 2023. The banquet details are being finalized and invitations will be sent as soon as possible by email.
Congratulations to our new FGCM President
Congratulations go out to our new FGCM President, Beverly Wattenbarger. Beverly’s theme is “Plant America: Leading the Way for a Greener Missouri”. The Presidents Project will be, “Let’s Talk About Water”.

The Summer edition of THE garden forum has arrived in your mailbox. This summer edition is full of important information that your club will want to include in your own garden club yearbook. Be sure to send all names and addresses to Jackie Reynolds, Circulation Mgr., on the appropriate form, so she can include them in her roster of recipients for THE garden forum. Send the forms to jreynolds452@charter.net. All members that have paid dues should receive a copy of The garden forum.

Dear ECD Executive Board, Presidents, and all Garden Club Members,
Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are now looking forward to a great 2023. I wanted to share with you a few ECD dates that seem to have been neglected to be sent out. I apologize for that. It is totally my fault! The Opening Meeting for the ECD will be held February 7,2023 at the Moolah Shrine Center. General meetings will begin at 9:30 am. The ECD Executive Board Meeting will be held on August 29, 2023, also at the Moolah Shrine Center. General meeting will begin at 9:30. The ECD Annual Awards Banquet will be held on October 12,2023. The venue has not been selected yet. You will be updated.
If you have printed your club yearbook and do not have the above dates listed, you will not be held accountable when the books are scored for yearbook of the year. Please send your yearbooks to the following:
