Recitals,Exams and Certifications

Well-prepared students participate in exams and contest sponsored by the Minnesota Music Teachers Association (MMTA).  They also have the opportunity to perform in MMTF (Minneapolis Music Teachers Forum) recitals as often as twice monthly.  Both programs offer ribbons and trophies for participation. The National Federation of Music Teachers sponsors the Junior Festival program in which students perform and work toward gold cup trophies.
